The Hampton Inn Okeechobee is a staple in this town, its anchor has been in this skyline since time started. The hotel was clean, room was clean and staff was friendly. The location is not too terrible, if you want to exit the hotel properly you’ll have to go through the post office to get to the traffic light. Applebees is across the street and so is the race trac to get your swirl on. The best thing about this hotel was the friendly and informative front desk clerk, Robert. He was very helpful! From a customer who has stayed at several Hamoron Inns, this was no where near to what I was accustomed to. The walls had marks on them like a child had colored on the wall and the bed was very uncomfortable. However, the cleaning lady was very sweet and helpful! The breakfast was awful because the food was not good and did not have a variety of foods either so I do believe you need to make some improvements here!

Stayed at this Hampton Inn several times. Won't be staying there anymore. It just keeps going downhill. This time, when we got to our room, there was no soap and the shower curtain was torn almost in two. The breakfast was also pathetic, with very few choices. We prefer Hampton Inn hotels, so we've stayed at many. This is one that I will NEVER stay at again. It just doesn't measure up to the Hampton Inn standard.
