Nice, reasonably priced hotel near the campus of Rutgers University. Very convenient.
I stayed at Hampton Inn North Brunswick / New Brunswick and was very disappointed with the room I received. The window was completely blocked by a huge wall. There was no sunlight or natural light at all. I went to the reception and asked politely if I could change the room because I wanted a room with sunlight in the morning. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and refused to change my room. After going back and forth with her, I gave up and left because she refused to help. This is unacceptable service. I’ll start with the nice part, every employee I spoke with was nice and professional. The WiFi did not work. If you need the internet for business or pleasure this is not your place. I asked three different staff members to transfer rooms and they all said the internet there was terrible and if it wasn’t acceptable then there was no solution.
