We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Newport News about a year ago. We had a reservation at the Hilton and they messed it up so badly we ended up at the Hampton. The manager was wonderful. He found us a room and went beyond the call of duty in trying to make our stay enjoyable. I wish we had just booked our reservation at the Hampton to begin with. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. If we are ever back in the area we will be staying there. You can't beat the service or the price.
