We come to New Orleans every year for French Quarter Fest and, as natives, we know the city well. We usually stay at the Drury, but decided to try the Hampton Inn on Elysian Fields this time. Big mistake. From the moment we arrived, the experience went downhill. The front desk agent, a white male with short hair, was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Everything in the area was expensive. They all charged for parking. Parking here was $40 and you got a code for the gate. I like parking my own car. Also, I could leave and return without going through someone. The desk staff was polite. The room appeared clean. The breakfast was typical, timely and stocked. Didn't look at the pool. Probably small. It's on the east side of the French quarter. Easily walkable. All in all we were pleased with it stay.

Danielle and Adonica deserve all of the flowers! They made my stay feel extra special, personal, and pleasant. Anytime I had a question, I could count on their quick and cheerful responses. I don't normally stay in hotels, but based on their service, I would certainly return to the Hampton Inn!
