UPDATE: Hilton finally contacted me and the regional manager was very helpful and understanding. The property is lacking a full time GM. When Hilton Honors was informed, and the email was finally sent to the correct person, I was contacted and compensated for my inconvenience, with the assurance that this critical training and safety issue would be addressed. We got a handicap room for my husband. It had a tub with grab bars and a hand held faucet. Having a tub for someone who has difficulty walking isn't good because they have a hard time getting their legs up and over the sides of the tub. Also the bathroom had a small sink area with no counter space to put anything. There was an extremely small table with towels on it and the hooks to hang towels on were at least 2 feet away. How can a non handicap person reach that from the tub let alone a handicap person? I would love to des... read more
