Extremely Disappointed with Our Stay My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Moss Point/Pascagoula, MS (6730 Highway 63 N) from October 9–12, 2025, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. When we arrived, the front desk lady was very kind, but the room was absolutely unacceptable — dirty coffee cups left behind, rusted lamps, filthy lampshades, stained walls and curtains, and a musty odor throughout. Wasn't terrible but room was old and needed repair/updating.
Hampton Inn on the outside but definitely not on the inside. We did a digital check in like we normally do. However once we got up to the room, our key did not work. So of course we had to go back down to the lobby. We were told “ digital keys don’t work here” That would have been nice to know in advance. The big issue that I had was with the water. I travel for work and I stay here all the time. I can always count on a friendly welcoming staff, a great night sleep and a hot breakfast and they never forget to wish me safe travels upon my departure...I highly recommend staying here.
