My wife and I stayed for just a single night, and the room we got was deplorable. Used toilet paper, soap dispensers empty and caked in dust as if they hadn't been touched in weeks, musty, water damage, stained sheets, holes in the wall, smoke residue on the ceiling, remote and bed caked in dust and skin flakes, ice tray caked in dust and unknown dirt. Hair all over the bed, bug in the bathtub, blood? stain on the bathroom floor, shady people outside. We got a refund and stayed elsewhere. Wasted over 3 hours of our well-deserved vacation. I called corporate, thinking this was a respectable company and was told to call this location (who already didn't care).
I was double charged for the room. The clerk on duty when I checked in ran my credit card twice without telling me why he was running it. When I asked, he said once was for the room charge and the second was for "incidentals." I told him the room had already been paid for, in full, when I made the reservation. He said it would be refunded if that were the case. It was not refunded.
