I had an outstanding experience with Hampton Inn Manhattan–35th St. Empire State Building, even though I was unfortunately unable to stay due to a family emergency. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help me. They listened to my situation with kindness and understanding and generously waived my cancellation fee as a goodwill gesture. I was a little skeptical because the reviews but ended up staying for the 4th of July weekend. The only con was the room was small but other than that the staff and room were excellent. The ac and heater worked and no noise was heard at all. Would recommend for just going out and visiting New York.
I didn't have time to fill out the satisfaction survey before I left. The hotel is in a great location; it might seem basic, but it has everything you need to enjoy New York and get your bearings. Special thanks to Destiny, thanks for the smile and the bus directions!
It is in a prime location walking distance to empire state building and Madison Square gardens. Lots of eatries all around.
