This place is very dated - in need of a serious facelift on both the exterior and in the guest rooms. Air conditioners wonky, mold and mildew in rooms, hot water has one temperature - scalding. Waterpik shower heads from the 80s. Didn't feel clean. Food was left in my mini fridge from previous guest. Sheetrock screws coming through shower insert -- the pointy end!! Easy to overhear your neighbor's conversations and bodily functions. The staff was super nice which was the only saving grace and why this is 3 stars versus 1-2
This place is depressing
Wonderful service!!! I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Laurinburg, NC the week after I had to sell my mom’s house, bc she had recently passed away. Everyone was very kind and friendly, especially the gentleman who was working the front desk, 3rd shift at that time. I couldn’t sleep most nights, so I would get up and walk around the hotel, trying to wear myself out. The employees name was Brandon Dunn, but I believe he was given a promotion, which he definitely deserved, to assistant manager. When Mr. Dunn was working the nights... read more
