No black out curtains on the room windows. When I asked about it was told "we're aware, they're on order but we can't get them." Why are they renting rooms without curtains? They could have at least let me know and choose to accept the room or not.

I was staying at this Hampton to prepare for my daughter's wedding. I checked in 7/9/26 at 8pm no problem, friendly receptionist (I forgot her name). My partner (who's name the room was under) showed up at 5am. That receptionist could not find his reservation and said she deleted the account. He showed ID and gave his credit card, but she said she could not give him a key to the room?! She allows him to continue up to the room though. I of course let him in. We spent a night here driving out east. Got there around 11pm. Receptionist was nice, the room wasnt. Broken toilet, broken fixture on the wall, broken sink drain, dangerous exposed screw in shower, and a shower that shifted when you stepped on it. And that was only the bathroom. I told them when I checked out that they should never rent a room in that condition. I was in a hurry but was told a manager would call me. Its been a day and no such call yet.
