Hampton in Keokuk, IA does not live up to their posted statement at check in that "any team member can help the customer be happy, guaranteed ". Untrue, and not to be trusted. The front desk would not honor our confirmed reservation because their payment system was not working, and they could not accept any form of payment. Something definitely wrong with their policies & procedures & systems to turn away & alienate a customer. Nice rooms and comfy bed. Bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast was good too with lots of options. The WiFi was so slow though. Only like 4-5 mbps so if you’re staying here for work you either need to pay to upgrade the WiFi (so lame that Hilton does this, stop being so cheap and be good to your customers) or just stay somewhere that has better WiFi in the first place.

One of the best Hamptons we've stayed in. Best breakfast bar we've had at a Hampton. Easy location to get in & out. Good restaurants close by.

I paid $293.33 for 2 nights Overall, I had a nice stay. Staff was very attentive and kind. Check in & check out process was very easy. Key points: - Room was decently clean but it did have a hint of a smell, as mentioned in other people's reviews. They did supply me with plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. - Water pressure was a little soft for my liking, but they have very good water temperature control.
