Everything was great until we seen a bug in the room and mold in the bathroom above the jacuzzi.

I always search for a Hampton Inn when traveling, because I know the rooms will be clean and nice. This is the first property that has disappointed me. The pool was green, had cigarette butts floating in it and just did not look safe to swim in. My grandson was so disappointed because we would not let him in it. This is by far the worst Hampton Inn we have stayed at. The pool water was dirty, yellow, and had cigarette butts and trash in it. The room smelled musty, the veneer on the furniture was chipped and coming off, and the carpet was frayed. The room air conditioner kept making a loud popping sound throughout the night and did not cool the room as it should have. I always search for a Hampton Inn when traveling. This is the first property that has fallen short of my expectations. The pool was green and unsafe looking, the furniture in our room was worn, picture on wall missing with screws hanging out of the wall, water was slow to drain in tub, had to flush toilet multiple times, water bucket was wet and slimy, ac didn’t cool room as cold as I like, ac made popping noise that made it difficult to fall asleep. The only good thing was the staff was friendly.
