I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn Gulf Shores multiple times and already have 16 nights here in 2026. Even with access to beachfront hotels through the Hilton Friends & Family program—often at similar or lower prices—I still choose this property every time because of the staff. Felicity (Assistant Manager) is outstanding, and Lovely and OJ at the front desk are consistently warm and welcoming. Paige in Sales is also excellent. The consistency of service here is what makes this hotel stand out.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament in foley. Pretty high rate I guess because it’s closer to the beach. But not really at the beach. Tax tag and title. It was $406 for a 2 queen room on a Saturday night. This is not anywhere near what I would expect from a $400 a night hotel. We had to ask for toilet paper and an 4th towel as soon as we got here. I happen to notice the shower gel soap was almost out. So they had to replace it. I’m hoping breakfast is good. But we’ll see in the morning.

The best thing about this hotel was the front desk staff. Helpful, friendly, very pleasant. The room was worn and dated and that's an understatement. This is a pet friendly hotel but they don't designate specific rooms for dogs and cats so keep in mind if you have allergies, you may be checking right into a room that just had a dog or cat in it. Had an early check in the room was not available yet had to wait finally checked in fridge didn't work air conditioning was either freeze you out or non existent room had mold in it we recieved no maid service was told maintenance would take care of fridge and air problem did t happen finally on our next to last day the assistant manager swapped the fridge and fixed the air we were promised that they would credit us point since we are Hilton Gold members but the points haven't shown up on our account needless to say we will ... read more

Nasty unfriendly clerk at front desk this am and yesterday afternoon. Hallways NOT vacuumed..Mon/Tues. One employee was wheeling her grandchild around in a laundry cart while feeding him breakfast from guest area. Giant turnoff and not up to Hilton standards. Room was spacious, clean but ceiling above shower peeling.
