We've been coming here for years for an event that we attend in Florence. We always stay at the Hampton Inn Florence - Midtown. It's always nice, clean and the staff are friendly. It's in a good location for us to get to the places we need to go to for the weekend.
We were disappointed in our stay at this hotel. The carpets were extremely dirty in hallways and there was a heavy smell of room deodorizers in hallways and our room. Room prices were high for what you get. The air conditioning unit cover fell off during our visit. Water pressure was low in shower. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. Since there staff want to go around and bragging about firing me, like it wasn't going to get back to me, that there staff do not like me. Since you want to be low down, I just want you all to know its nothing in at that front desk or in those rooms but "Ants, STDS, and etc... but hey find somebody else to play with.
Lobby is nice. Rooms are not. Coffee is not good, breakfast is not good.
Hampton Inn Florence-Midtown is the ONLY place that I even consider staying locally. The facilities and grounds are ALWAYS clean and the staff is top-notch...caring, thoughtful, considerate.
