Nice hotel, room needs a thurough cleaning of the carpet. Its felt sticky with no shoes on. Some of the BaseBoard was falling off the wall in the bathroom.
Almost every other time I've stayed there.the fire alarm has gone off in the middle of the night

On 9/5/2025 Checked in for my reservation at Hampton inn Emporia , VA. I was told pet friendly rooms were on the fifth floor . She did not have the king bed room available they I had booked however, offered me two queens on the pet friendly floor. She also said they had king suite available however it would cost more . I asked if we could be upgraded to a suite since the room was not Available. She replied YOU ARE NOT A GOLD MEMBER . I told her I needed a king bed and handicapped accessible.
