I checked in on Wednesday, 8-5-25. While shaving, the sink filled with water and wouldn’t drain. Took about 8-10 minutes to finally drain. Next morning I advised the lady at the desk of the problem and was told if I would be out the maintenance guy would fix the drain. I left around 10:50 and when I returned to check to see if the drain worked the door to my room had been left open. Yep! The deadbolt was extended and no way for the door to shut. And…. The rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. They had the usual, but if your serving gravy. At least have the biscuits to go with it. When we asked the lady serving breakfast if they had water, she looked at us very confused. Needless to say "" no water":....
This is no longer a Hampton Inn, it has changed to a different brand.
There was red sauce on the wall in for bath room. Some staff member were very unprofessional. A the shower floor had spot where it looked they washed them shower floor but forgot to rinse out the dirt. So it was small brown spots looked like dead skin an dirt in the shower..... lot of unnecessary drama too. Talking to guest is cool, but over sharing about guest is a real problem. Not sure I'll be booking here again
I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Decatur, AL from July 7 -10, 2025 and it was by far one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is under major construction, yet they are still charging full price while many amenities like the fitness center are completely unavailable. Since my arrival, I’ve witnessed multiple leaks throughout the property, including a major water issue that left guests without water for an entire day.
