Hotel was clean. Probably the worst managed hampon I have ever stayed at. Staff spoke english poorly and told me they did not know how to change a smoke alarm battery, so I had to change rooms at 2am. Breakfast is ok. I did not feel like this hotel was up to the same standards of hampton inns that I have stayed at before.
I was with a choir group who had reservations for a few weeks. When we arrived at the hotel, no rooms were ready. There were no lids for the coffee cups. Then, on the morning of our departure, the power went out. This was during the major ice storm. They had no generator. Is it usual for an establishment like this not to have a generator? We had to drag our luggage down three flights of stairs because the elevator wasn't working. Not a fun way to start the morning.
It's centrally located near Walmart, IHOP, Home Depot, and quite a few restaurants. Everything is clean and they have early check-in. I will go there again.
