Alexis was wonderful. It was late at night and she greeted us with happiness. I appreciate it so much after we had a horrible experience somewhere else. She was extremely accommodating for us especially when one of us had a medical condition. Even after everything, she wanted to make sure we had the best experience.

Hotel and rooms were clean and well-maintained. Bathrooms were clean; grout and caulk in the bathroom looked fresh and white. AC ran smoothly and quietly throughout the night. We stayed in 4 different hotels on our trip and this one was the gold star among them. Breakfast was your typical Hampton Inn spread and tasted good. Close proximity to restaurants and short drive to Charleston.
This was not great - room was musty, not nice, and the AC was not on in the room in JUNE. It smelled like super strong cleaning chemicals. It was gross in there. The lady at the front was quite rude as I asked what room # and she snapped at me to look at the form she gave me. Whole time, she never gave it to me! Anyway, I do appreciate that they allowed us to cancel our stay after being dissatisfied with the room.
