The hotel was newly renovated in 2020 during covid, according to staff. The hotel is well maintained and kept in good order by its employees.
This hotel is phenomenal. Complimentary breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Excellent variety for all food tastes. Rooms are super clean, nice hot water pressure for showers, safe area, strong internet, lots of parking, etc. I love the option to pick room & checkin online. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was good. My only issue is that everything seemed very noisy. The rooms don't seem to have much insulation from other rooms, and the breakfast area echoes. Not a big deal, but noticeable. I was under the impression when making the reservation, that this hotel was close to the beach. I guess I should have looked at a map.
Initially, there was a slight mixup on the room selection; however, Manager Toby and his very courteous team (thank you, Paul & Jasmine!) could not have been more professional in the resolution. Clean room and excellent location (close to Bressi Ranch, The Carlsbad Forum, The Carlsbad Outlets & the fantastic beach!). Enjoy your stay!
