Don't know if the person at desk was trying to pocket some extra money or not. Looked this hotel up on the internet, and price was 118.15 plus tax for a total of 134.40. Thought I'd call up the hotel and see if I could get a AAA discount on that. The women who answered quoted me a price of 130.66 plus tax that supposedly INCLUDED the AAA discount, for a total of 148.63. We stay here often when we travel and we love this hotel. They are super accommodating & usually friendly. Housekeeping is wonderful & its super close to Tim Hortons, The Ridge restaurant & a ton of other eateries & shopping. The only downside is people are free to smoke weed outside the door and you have to gag your way in. ..but that's NY for ya
