Wir waren für 7 Tage im Hampton Inn in Brooklyn. Hotel: Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen das sieht und merkt man bei näherem hinsehen. Wir verstehen nicht, warum auf der offiziellen Homepage steht, dass es frisch renoviert wurde. Auch werden sowohl auf der Homepage als auch vor dem Hotel Rooftop Fotos gezeigt. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wird uns mitgeteilt, dass die Terrasse aus Sicherheitsgründen aufgrund von losem Beton nicht nutzbar ist. Let‘s start with the rooms: size for a family with a teenage child was okay, rooms were clean. We‘ve had 2 incidents during our 1 week stay… There was a technical problem in the room above ours and we had a wet cieling of about 1,5 sqm (got fixed within 1 day but no compensation offered). The handshower was not working and we told that to the technical staff, but it has not been repaired. Had a lovely stay here. The manager and front desk was very nice and attentive. The rooms were renovated and clean. I didn't use the bar but appreciated the option. The gym was great.

Great value for the location and amenities. The full breakfast and 24/7 coffee & tea were a treat. Also enjoyed watching FIFA and Knicks win the CHAMPIONSHIP in the inside restaurant. Rooms was small without a closet to hang clothes or refrigerator.
