This review is long overdue, but this was an amazing stay my sister and I had in back in November! Kila was absolutely amazing! We got a room upgrade, umbrellas for our NYC adventures, and she told us that when we're back in the city we need to come to her for food recommendations in Harlem. So! We’ll most definitely be back! The view was great, room was nice & cozy, and the breakfast was pretty good! Location was great too because we were about a 5 min walk from the train!
Friendly staff, convenient location. Rooms slightly small - to be expected in a city location. Breakfast was very busy and a bit of a bunfight for a table. Housekeeping was patchy.
Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. I would have liked an extra blanket and pillows in the closet.
I’ve stayed at this location several times for work and really enjoy every stay. The staff are so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are up to date, clean, and provide all necessary amenities. Several also have amazing views of Manhattan. Parking is also available next door for a fee, and the location can’t be beat! I’ll definitely be returning to this property any time I come to Brooklyn for work.
The hotel overall is nice. However, it is not soundproof. This is Brooklyn where ambulances roll around 24/7, the police must have their sirens on at all times for some reason. On a given Thursday evening at 2:00 a.m. they are still loud and going. We didn't check until 1:00 a.m., and even at 4:00 a.m. the city was still alive. 😅 Perhaps ask for a view of tillery Street, because there's no other views.
