The Hampton Inn in Beckley, West Virginia, was a major disappointment. Our room was dusty and dirty, with worn and broken furniture. The pool was unsafe and unusable, filled with dirt and algae, which was especially disheartening for my children. I even had to kill a cockroach on the main floor. On top of that, one of the elevators was out of service, and the breakfast toaster wasn’t working. Overall, the hotel felt neglected, poorly maintained, and in very poor condition. The smell of our room was musty and smoke filled. The hotel needs a huge upgrade!
