The front desk clerk named Catherine was extremely rude and not helpful! The room was not clean, the rug was dirty and had stains! There were no towels and there was a smell. I do not recommend this hotel. LaQuinta which unfortunately is not a Hilton hotel is the best place to stay in Batavia, NY.

I’ve stayed at Hampton Inns before and usually have a good experience, but unfortunately, this location in Batavia fell short. From the start, the service was unfriendly. We were made to feel more like a burden than a paying guest, which set a disappointing tone for the stay. While the room appeared neat at first glance, the details told a different story. Staying here for out of town work trip. When I read the reviews there were some good some bad like most hotels I book for work. When checking in the front desk was not very friendly, didn’t tell us about breakfast, where anything is. Typical things they tell you when checking into a hotel. He gave us our cards and sent us on our way. Not only that when I get to my room, the AC doesn’t go below 66.
