They let someone else into our room because we had the same last name. We were related, but we booked separately so it makes no sense that they let them up. Also the desk chair was broken and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. Underneath the wallpaper there was clearly mold. Didn't hate the stay, but was upset by these things that displayed an unhygienic and unprofessional environment. The location was great though.

Think twice before booking this place! I stayed here for 3 nights while in Albany to take an important exam, paying $290 per night. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room had a strong, rotten smell—I initially thought it was coming from the bathroom, but it turned out to be the air conditioner. I reported it to the front desk, and someone came to spray chemicals around the AC and use an ionizer, asking me to stay out of the room for an hour. It was already late, and the odor didn’t improve.
