Close to whitesands national park. 20 minutes drive!! However, while many hotel chains now allow guests to easily connect their own Netflix or streaming services, this place is still relying on a traditional cable network. It feels a bit outdated and could really benefit from upgrading to more modern entertainment options.
Rooms were fine, but oh my was it loud in there. Constant stream of kids and pets and just loud folks going by my door all night long and it sounded like they were in the room with me. Staff was friendly, breakfast was the typical Hampton Inn disaster that they all are these days (at least the second waffle flavor was chocolate which is my favorite). Location is ok for Alamogordo, right by the best restaurant.
