Anthony Hamilton was FANTASTIC!! Highly recommend the Jazz Fest!! Soo much fun and great music!!!
If security tries to throw your stuff away, just come back in another line or a few minutes later. Entry policy was changing by the minute. Security didn't know Hampton Coliseum policy and was throwing away EVERYTHING. They wouldn't consult management even when they were wrong (and I say they were wrong because they changed the rules as people were going through line. I am leaving this as a 1 star because several workers had horribly rude attitudes immediately from the doors opening. Some had to fight for EARPLUGS & handheld... read more
If security tries to throw away your allowable items, just come back in another line or a few minutes later. Entry security was throwing away EVERYTHING. Some had to fight for Earplugs & manual paper/cloth fans (even though this was for a concert). Rules were changing by the minute, & security would not consult management even when they were wrong about Hampton Coliseum policy. I love the mothership (that's what ravers call the Coliseum). I've been going here for years, seeing Excision, Griz, GWN, Slander, Subtronics, etc ♡ Pros: -Amazing production with lazers, unmatched inside venue -lots of seating on upper level. Will always have a place to sit -a rail on the second floor! -very good moveability on the floor -free water fill stations!
