Perfect Fusion – I've been going to this place since it opened, when I'd never heard of a dosa, and Asian-fusion was new. The Potato Masala Dosa is truly something I crave: spicy potatoes, melted jack cheese, spinach, and roasted tomatoes. You've got to eat your dosas there, even though it can be hard to find a space. They can get a little soggy if you take them out. Whenever I'm hungry and in SoHo, this is where I wind up.

good... but pricey... still good – I use to have a girlfriend. I use to have a girlfriend who was from India. I use to have a hot girlfriend from India. She had a great skill set, one of a kind. Sometimes I'm sad I let her go but this isn't about relationships, its about food! Even though she won't admit it, she was a Padme Lakshmi in the kitchen with slightly better assets. She would regularly cook for me at odd hours of the night, among my favorite dishes were her dosas. The dosa is a south Indian speciality made of rice a... read more

Very sweet shop – This was an adorable find, as I needed an interesting yet inexpensive place to take some friends for a long lunch. I wanted it to feel different and special and it was. it was All America with a hint of Indian thrown in. The staff was great and very down home feeling. The atmosphere was that of being out of the City. I was glad Ellen from newnewyorker dot com recommened this to me.. Definitely give this place a chance...

Well, it's not indian – It's pretty terrible food. You don't get such a low quality dosa in many place but they seem to have achieved it. Yeah, you might be intrigued by the non-traditional fillings, but the dosa itself is made poorly and they fail to have any a reasonable selection of chutney and rasam.

Great little hidden gem – Great lunch spot, decent price, friendly people, good food. What more can you ask for? #9 with the tomato sauce is my favorite!

Lunchtime perfection – A great cheap place to get alot for your money. Having tried several dishes, the value is worth it! Really hits the spot, and everything tastes really fresh. I only do pickup since it is perpetually crowded. Definitely get in there early to avoid the rush! Tuna sandwich was really something unique - give it a try!

For an Indian, might not be that great – The #1 - Masala Dosa was quite good, I would scale it a 6/10. but I was not a fan of the 'fusion dosa' where the filling went from portabella mushroom to avocado. I grew up eating Dosa and have yet to find a place in NY to satisfy my taste buds. For a cute place to go, check out this place...and definatly at leasty try #1 with cilantro chutney. A cheap eat for NYC, but not for dosa.

The East End's favorite dosa stop is a natural match for SoHo. – In Short The small eatery moves at a quick pulse, as fashionable women glide through the small space in sarongs, balancing cell phone conversations with finding an open seat. Sitars play over the stereo, and a flower-festooned altar rests against an old tile-covered wall. The menu features fresh ingredients and a lineup of dosas, uttapams and straightforward, Americanized sandwiches.

Great Deal...Something Different – I recommend the #1 or #9 with the cilantro chutney or the curry chutney. Try there chai as it may be the best I have tasted. I have never tasted a dosa fusion entree before, and I have found it addictive.
