This is a very dangerous and extremely unsafe place to work and to be at as a patient. The higher ups do not value human lives. The nurses are justified at being paid tech wages and who knows what the techs are paid. Many employees were short paychecks. Management also willingly allows violence from patients to staff and turns a blind eye to safety everyday.
As a former longtime employee who truly cared about assisting the patients I will say that management and higher ups (especially the HR individual who came in, in 2022) do not care about the safety of patients and staff. This management in 2022 were incredibly dismissive of longtime employees who truly cared about making and difference and could care less about patients. Having worked here for years I will say that management treats the staff and patients without regard to safety or with accurate pay. If you're a nurse expect to get tech pay, they will say that under oath too. It is extremely dangerous too, they sweep violent crimes there under the rug.
Awful experience. The Drs. are incompetent at best… get you confused with other patients set no guidelines for when you can go home. Leave on vacation and there is no Dr can let you go. Dr. Kahn lied about a lot of things to all of us. Kept us for an extended amount of time while she was on vacation. Would diagnose you with different illnesses after talking to you for 5 minutes. Be very careful if you ever go here.
Awful place. The nurses are great. Drs are borderline incompetent. The social workers are worse. They keep you amd don’t let you leave.
