I am completely happy that I have Dr. Avant as my primary care provider. His manners and people skills are outstanding. He was very adept at creating rapport. He managed our time well—getting an overview and then setting priorities. I left feeling hopeful that we had the ladder up against the right wall. All the staff were pleasant and professional. I feel lucky.

Patient retention and patient experience is clearly NOT a priority. This front end staff is just awful. I've been going here for 15 yrs and cannot remember ever having a positive experience with their front staff. Looking over the negative reviews on google and on yelp for Hampden Medical Group, it is actually disheartening to see that many others have voiced the same complaint, yet absolutely nothing has changed with client experience. This is the best medical group ever. Dr. Avant is the most personable and knowledgeable physician I've ever encountered. The support staff is excellent and I thank them all.

Rude, incompetent & unhelpful staff. The least productive clinic I've ever been to. Insane wait times only to have a very uninformative appointment. Hardly able to treat me, I have never left an appointment there without being referred to another doctor to actually be treated. Do not waste your time here.
