RecommendedWe have a little push mower. 5 years ZERO servicing on it. I mean no oil changes, spark plugs, or sharpening. Nothing. Well it starts to leak gas so it is officially broken. Drop the lawn mower off on a Monday, he tells me it will be about a week and about 85. Calls that Friday, it is ready and was 101. Just used Hammonds for the first time for a mower repair. Excellent service, very nice guy and very affordable! Highly recommend!
He seems to be very honest and knowledgeable. I do most of my own engine service but I'd definitely have him work on what I can't do. I believe in patronizing local small businesses.
Jim fixed a leaf vac for me. He did an outstanding job! He will service all of our company generators and lawn equipment from now on. I highly recommend his service.
Save Hammond's Small Engine from being shut down by Baltimore County Zoning because they perceive that Jim services equipment that is not sold on site!! This is ludicrous, it is a much needed service in a growing metro area in the Falls Road. Corridor.
Behind the pit beef stand on falls road just north of padonia road. Mower grave yard out front, but don't let that bother you. This guy knows his stuff and the price is right.
If you can get past the mower and small engine graveyard out front, this is a great place for mower and small engine repair. He has serviced my mower twice, with impeccable results and within the time estimate. He also repaired a 20 year leaf blower and was able to find the parts for it (thanks you graveyard).
