RecommendedBest BBQ brisket sandwich!
We have been going to Hammonds for years. It is well worth the 45 minute drive. We usually get the turkey, brisket and baked potatoes. They are all amazing. The onion rings are excellent too. Service is good and you just can't go wrong with the food. Go visit them!!
Due to the Coronavirus, we had to do pick up and take home. We were thrilled with the deliciousness of it all....stuffed potato, ribs, beans, potato salad and OMG, the peach & blackberry cobblers!!! Pure JOY! It was our first visit but it won’t be our last!
The ribs and turkey were both delicious and the cobbler tastes like grandmas. We stop here every time we are in Glen Rose! Great leadership and great service!

Their community Thanksgiving meal is wonderful. Such a kind and generous event. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. So glad we were able to attend.
It was good bbq. The leftovers were good also
Good food, relaxed atmosphere. However, service could use a little work. The only thing I saw wrong was that our waitress never came back to check on us and see if we needed drink refills or anything. Other than that, it was great. Will definitely be back.
