They were OK. I was on the selling side, so I did not hire them, maybe that made a difference in service. Nothing went wrong per se, but I just felt like I was not informed. We have used Hammonds and Company for several of our loan closings. They simply the best and will to accommodate our clients and their needs for their closings. They are the best at providing customer service!!!!!
I was the seller in a transaction where Hammonds and Co. was the closing company so they were not working for me. And I still thought they were outstanding! I have bought and sold over 20 properties over the last few years and never have I had a closing company be so responsive and on top of things. I recently worked with Nicole and her team for my refinance, and I couldn't be more impressed. Their team was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and pay attention to all details. The closing was quick and efficient. I highly recommend Pat, Nicole and the whole Hammonds team to anyone who needs a quick refinance!
I've done many transactions and this was the worst. Their team missed details that I pointed out were incorrect a week prior to close, lo and behold we get to closing and they are still wrong. Additionally, they have exorbitant tickey tackey fees -- again not something I see from other competitors. Bottomline: if you're trusting your real estate transaction to this team, please double and triple check them because they aren't doing it themselves.
