Julian Barra was amazing in providing support and assistance at a very crucial time for our family. He is professional and cares about people. Hammondcare needs more staff like him.
Go with a different service provider if you can. Despite several calls asking for a carer that my mother with dementia is familiar with they send a different person. This happens over and over. They say call scheduling about it, I call go through why it is important for my mother to get someone she is familiar with and nothing changes. I'm so disappointed with the service I received from Hammond Care. The lack of communication between staff is astounding - I constantly got different stories from different people. It felt like they didn't know what was going on or what was happening with my care. The staff I did interact with didn't seem to have the right skills or knowledge, and visits were always cancelled at the last minute. When I tried to complain, nothing seemed to happen.
