Highly inconsistent quality of staff and health professionals. Some of their staff are well trained, lovely and polite. However, my mum in law received terrible care from one of their physiotherapist. Laura Mo, the physio had an arrogant know it all attitude which was off putting to start with. Let alone her impatience and rudeness which made her feel stupid for asking follow up questions. Julian Barra was amazing in providing support and assistance at a very crucial time for our family. He is professional and cares about people. Hammondcare needs more staff like him.
Go with a different service provider if you can. Despite several calls asking for a carer that my mother with dementia is familiar with they send a different person. This happens over and over. They say call scheduling about it, I call go through why it is important for my mother to get someone she is familiar with and nothing changes. I'm so disappointed with the service I received from Hammond Care. The lack of communication between staff is astounding - I constantly got different stories from different people. It felt like they didn't know what was going on or what was happening with my care. The staff I did interact with didn't seem to have the right skills or knowledge, and visits were always cancelled at the last minute. When I tried to complain, nothing seemed to happen.
