Hammond Health truly does deserve the terrible reviews. The visits themselves were, considering the one star rating, not terrible--however the cost is abysmal. The doctors and nurses were nice, however I was never told that the flu test I was recommended would cost $355. It would have been nice if when they asked if I would like them to run a flu test if I was made aware it was cost so damn much. I absolutely never would have consented to it at that rate.
You would be better off not getting the school insurance because they literally don’t do anything.
Every single time I go here I get sent to urgent care costing me two out of pocket copays. Imagine charging your students over $3000 a year for health insurance that doesn’t doesn’f ensure you anything???
