About this business

Message from Hammocks Heating & Air There is an itemized list of the 16 points included in the inspection on our website Hammockshvac.com Any furnace over 10 years old should be inspected every year. Due to the age of the system there is a threat of gas leaks of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide has been called the "silent killer" because it is an odorless, tasteless and colorless gas. Because carbon monoxide can kill without inhabitants of a home or building even knowing there is a problem, carbon monoxide alarms are highly ... read more

Great service, going above and beyond to make sure things are functional and aesthetically pleasing. Fair prices and very responsive! I can’t say enough good things about everyone at Hammocks.

Ms. Purchased new unit from Hammocks 10/09 and kept under service contract. Hammocks forgot to service first summer. I had to call them in August. They said just wait till fall. Unit died 5/12. First tech said nothing they did, didn't look at system and then told me I'd have to decide if was going to pay for his visit. I asked him to leave and had another tech sent out. He said, "Who installed this unit? Horrible job. 5 leaks, wrong filter in (they serviced 4 weeks earlier), and no one has ever cleaned the pump. Company sent... read more

I would not recomment Hammock I live in a loft and the a/c units are on the roof top. I had Hammock Heating and Air come out for my summer maintenance. The Hammock technician told me I had a refrigerant leak on the condenser coil on the rooftop unit. The quoted $2500 to replace since a crane is need to get the unit on the roof. I decided to get a second opinion since my heating and air work fine. Hamby HVAC came out today and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with rooftop unit. I called the owner of Hammock and he basic... read more

Prompt service and professional techs. We used this company when we had an issue with one of our A/C units not working properly. We made an appointment and the tech called me and let me know he'd be there is about 15 minutes. He was very professional and explained exactly what the problem was and gave me an estimated cost for repair. He was able to repair the problem on that visit. If we ever need service again I'd feel comfortable calling them.

Quick service We originally started with Hammock heating when we were about to buy a new home. The current owner was in a jam when a heating system went out a week before closing. All the other places she called could notgeta unit in in time. They came out the next day. We have maintained a contract with them since. They call us to schedule our two services each year. They givea two hour window but I have found they often call to change the appointment. I am usually flexible so it is ok with me. I ahve yet to see the same se... read more
