I purchased this bag in July 2025, used it over the summer, and just took it back out after Memorial Day. I was surprised to see that the gold stamped logo is already worn off to the point that it’s barely legible. The bag was always stored properly in its dust bag and box in an air-conditioned closet. The most phenomenal customer service experience I have ever received in my life. The entire staff at Hermosa Beach is beyond a 5 star review. Evan, Katelyn and Riley all made sure I received the bag I wanted in time for Christmas. Extremely Disappointed — Poor Quality and Worse Customer Service I purchased a Hammitt handbag expecting high quality, but after only three wears, the color changed, and the bag looked completely worn and damaged. I contacted customer service expecting some accountability, but instead was met with apathy and zero concern. Incredible work space with a talented and friendly staff that closely collaborates.
Hammitt has really lost their touch. I've been a Hammitt collector for years. I bought through various retailers and always enjoyed the quality and design of these handbags. I also purchased direct from their website. They now opened a store in La Jolla. The customer service is horrible. They actually go out of their way to be rude and make you uncomfortable.
