Hamlet Homes is poor quality! My poor house is falling apart...I do not recommend Hamlet Homes to anybody!!-cabinets are falling off walls-cement is cracking and coming apart-appliances are broken very quickly-nails are coming out of wall-drainage is done all wrong...floods neighbors-plumbing is leaking and needs to be replaced..All this started after warranty is up...warranty was only a year..Very disappointed!
Beware Bought a newly-built house from Hamlet Homes. Basement flooded within 6 months, fixed by builder, flooded again, fixed again, flooded again,...... During the last flood, builder ignored and claimed it was out of warranty and they had nothing to do with it. Got a contractor to repair it and found builder never sealed the foundation wall where the main pipe comes into the house, water has been coming into the basement from the non-sealed area. Contacted the builder on the finding and of course was ignored. Taking legal ... read more
Terrible experience with this builder. My home was not built to code. I was informed of this by the city who discovered this after I moved in. . In addition, I have had engineers out to my property who have told me in their reports that the excavation of my property was very poorly done. I’ve been in this home a little under 2 years and things are just falling apart. Drawers, doors, ect.. poor quality materials. Hamlet Homes stands behind their product 100%! We had some minor warranty issues, like all homes, but they were taken care of in a timely way and done right. They even took care of a problem we discovered after our warranty period had expired. We were unable to install a Radon fan in the attic where it was supposed to go because of furnace vent pipes being in the way. Never never never use Hamlet Homes. During the first year they (Kyle) promised and promised to fix things like nails popping out of ceilings and a faulty door that looks like a 2nd grade glue project, sinking walkway, crumbling cement stairs and more. It never happened. Finally when we were able to get someone out here, they said it was out of warranty, the year had passed. Hamlet Homes is great if you dont mind your home not being built to building code.
