Great visit start to finish! A map with handwritten details of how to hit the sights. Steve even let us borrow a trailer to see the upper Keweenah area. He invited us to his waterfall tour which was amazing. Can't say enough about this campground or its owner! He goes above and beyond. Very knowledgeable about the area.

We were there more for leaf peeping but I'd be hard pressed to find a more friendly and hospitable host! Steve was above and beyond, gave us a map and circled all the sites that interested us, Excellent wifi, able to stream even when park was crowded, no fhu but has a pump out service, great experience

We had a terrific experience renting Aventon E-bikes from Hamilton North Coast Adventures. We were staying in Ontonagon, and the owner, Steve Hamilton, was nice enough to deliver the bikes to our lodging. He also gave expert recommendations on bike routes for the area. We took his advice, riding from Ontonagon to Greenland, to tour Adventure Mines. We used his Polaris charger at Adventure Mines to charge the bikes back up while touring the mines. Steve was absolutely amazing! The campground was quiet and tucked away beautifully. They have firewood for sale and a water supply that has easy access. I don’t think that we could have asked for a better place to land for a couple of days. The Porkies were within 25 minutes and it made for an easy trip to hike. 15/10 recommend!
