Visited on a summer UP tour in our RV. Loved it. Very quiet Forest setting, just a few other campers, no traffic to speak of. Rv sites only have shore power hookups. However, Steve, the great owner operator, provides free holding tank pump out during your visit. Surprisingly, this remote location also has a fantastic Wi-Fi network with high bandwidth.

Steve was an incredible host to us during our summer trip there. The thousand acres of recreational Trail were great for getting out with my dog. He also provided great information for sites to see in the area. We will be back next time we are in the UP.

We just wrapped up an incredible 4-night stay at Hamilton’s North Coast Adventures and it easily ranks as one of the best camping experiences we’ve had. Steve is a great host with abundant information of where to go and what to see in the area, and he’s more than happy to share his knowledge! Campground is basic (yea!), quiet (yea!), clean (yea!). Porta potties are clean, WiFi is good, sites well sized, water spigots with hoses, electric, some pull through sites, some back in sites that have more shade (we stayed in site 16 and it has the best shade). Great easy going campground. Owner went above and beyond to ensure we had a great week riding sxs. Great recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. Made sure we had what we needed through a regional power outage. Would absolutely return.
