I had the best nurses ever. Each and every one was great and took good care of me. But if I could vote one nurse of the year it would be Nicole Queen-Garner. She went beyond the call of duty while taking care of me. When I was very sick. She's a very special nurse.
I had a overwhelmingly positive natural birth experience right up until I got home and within an hour of settling in with my newborn, a child services case worker was knocking at my door because of one of the hospital staff. We told someone that we were planning on sleeping with the baby in our bed (but still had a bassinet next to our bed) and even though that is completely legal, apparently it’s enough to get a case started.
