I had a great experience with Dr. Hamill’s practice. The space is warm and inviting; the receptionist helped me get an appointment quickly within the week! She’s a gem, very caring! They also have a Christmas tree and I felt very calm going into the office and sitting in the waiting room. For Dr. Hamill’s way of practice, I felt I could really let my guard down and talk to him! You treated my son at Jersey city medical center and let him go home. Knowing that he has schizophrenia. I believe that was very poor medical practice on your part.
Our young adult son sees Dr. Hamill. Although I don't sit in on the sessions between the two of them, I've already noticed some positive changes in my son. He's been spending more time out of his room, cleans up after himself without me having to ask first, and actually asked to have a family game night!!! Dr. Hamill spent the most time with me during our visit than any psychiatrist. He was very attentive, thoughtful, and I feel better now more than ever! Highly recommend to anyone looking to better understand their mental health.
