I have two favorite burgers; Krystal famous Southern burgers and The Hamburger Wagon. I can’t get Krystals north of Lexington and I can get Hamburger Wagon. They don’t make them better!
Lived in the area for years and have seen the little hamburger wagon. I tried my first one yesterday. They are a good little burger but not sure it is all the hype they get. Nothing on them but salt pepper a pickle and onion. The burgers are made with fresh meat but not sure it is all beef. Give it a try. I was not happy about the grease it is cooked in but I am sure that is what gives it a nice flavor. Service is very fast. Try them and judge for yourself.
I do love the food but the line was long and took forever. Usually someone Is constantly slinging burgers in the skillet but today was more like they cooked one order at a time. Which took forever.
