My husband and I just went there yesterday. Have been a few times. Waitresses are friendly and never have to wait long for service. If we do it's because of a winded older fella taking all the attention.lol. that's ok.. service great. Friendly staff. Delicious burgers/fries.
Walked in the door and no one even looked up. Finally asked if we could sit outside and one server said "Sure". What she should have said was "Sure but we won't help you". Sat outside for over 10 minutes with no service. Server came out and asked table next to us if everything was ok then went back inside. It was sunny and someone asked if the awning could be put up but no one came. At least not until we had gotten up and went across the street to Son of Thurmans where service is always good. We went on a Saturday, it was packed. We liked the food and service was ok. She kept talking about how busy they were and asked if we would vote for her on Facebook that she was gonna beat all these young chic's. We laughed and left. We would go back again.
Hamburger inn is one of my favorite places in Delaware! We always have the best service from Karen! Never had a bad meal from here!
Cheap great food. The kind of place you would see featured on TV. Miss Karen was a great server as always.
