I was seen to by Dr Joseph Merlino this morning for a root canal and he’s absolutely wonderful. He’s professional, gentle manner and he done a wonderful procedure for me. I highly recommend him.
I had avoided dentists for over 20 years, and the unavoidable toothache crashed my world. I thought this experience would be traumatic , but to my utter shock... it was actually pleasant and I'm totally not afraid of dental work anymore! The office staff were wonderful, actually advocating for me with my messy insurance. I won't go anywhere but Hamburg Family Dentistry - client for life.
Dr. Merlino did two root canals for me out of the goodness of his heart. He was professional, kind, and patient throughout my visits. There was no pain or discomfort during these procedures. I highly recommend you to go him if you need root canals done as that is his specialty. I am so grateful and appreciative that he was able to take out his time to perform these much needed procedures
RecommendedIf Dr.Forte isn’t your dentist you need a new one. Such an amazing experience with such kind and gentle staff. I personally am very skiddish when it comes to dentist but he and his assistant calmed me down and made it very easy to be comfortable. I highly highly highly recommend this office to everyone! Thank you guys so much for such a pleasant experience and being so helpful!!!!!
Dr. Forte is the best - talented, kind, and gentle. I was away from this practice for many years for personal reasons - none involving Dr. Forte, and recently returned. I wish I had never left. I will never go anywhere else again!

Dr Merlino is a kind and compassionate doctor who is an expert in his field. I was very nervous to see an Endodontist for a tooth that was symptomatic. He is so gentle and soft spoken and caring that it put me at ease. I didn’t feel his injection and he has this great pair of lenses which was a microscope that he uses to do your procedure! I felt no pain whatsoever! I highly recommend Dr Merlino and that’s coming from a dental hygienist and I am aware of everything that takes place in a dental office.
