DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM THEM! We had bought packages of meat from John Schechter (Manager maybe?) in the past and had relatively good experiences. Then he came by with a great deal, it was a holiday pre-order. We paid half down, then he would deliver the meats and we'd give him the other half upon receipt. I bought a pack of steaks from a door to door salesman. At first glance the steaks looked to be of good quality. Once you cook them you realize the quality is sub standard. I tried grilling, cast iron and oven every single time the "filet" came out chewy and the flavor seemed off. It took me a month but I finally got a refund. You're much better off going to your local grocery store.

So far the meat is sub-par, at best. The "new york strip" pieces are mostly inedible white substance, cartilage? I don't know. The delivery guy was driving door to door begging people to buy the meat from him so he didn't incur a restocking fee. At a price of $180 and his personal guarantee that the beef would be great or he'd swap it out or refund us, we fell for it and bought it. Bought 22 steaks for $80 after talking this guy "johnny west" down for a while. Thawed out 4 steaks in my fridge, 2 of which were not even sealed and leaked blood all over my fridge and house.. terrible experience. Should have looked them up before purchasing... please dont buy anything from these guys!!!!

If I could give a lower review I would. The chicken tenders tasted old. The second time making anything with them, pulling them out of the FROZEN bag, there was mold on the breading, leading me to believe it's been frozen and thawed several times. The steaks were brown, not red. There was sinew running through all the cuts, making them almost impossible to slice, and to top it off, some of the packages I opened, the meat was literal mush that I could pick off the steak with my fingers like cookie dough.
