Dr Lu. Is an amazing surgeon however the professionalism and courtesy is not extended throughout his staff at CBI health - foremost the front desk secretary. The receptionist is extremely rude and very unhelpful - makes the process extremely difficult to receive paperwork back in a timely manner - especially when handling insurance documents.
Years ago I had my first bunion surgery with another surgeon but it wasn’t effective so I asked knowledgeable people for recommendations. Several recommended Dr Lu so I decided to get a revision consultation and had my surgery on October 31, 2025. I’m very pleased with this experience. Dr Lu is professional, knowledgeable and clearly has the background and experience to revise and correct my issues. Totally amazing. Got my appointment for consultation one week after my doctor sent the requisition. 6 months later had my surgery. I am more than happy with the results. Now having my second foot done 4 months after the first one. Can't wait to have 2 normal looking feet again. I would recommend Dr. Lu to anyone looking to not have to wait for months even years to have this surgery. He is very professional and takes great pride in his work.
Dr. Lu and the entire team at CBI are truly professional and caring about their patients. Dr. Lu's instructions for post-surgery recovery are clear and concise. I highly endorse and recommend him.
I have been very pleased with the results of the surgery Dr Lu performed. From start to finish I have found the experience to be professional - office staff included. Dr Lu was open to my questions and we discussed various treatment options, in the end deciding on surgery as the best option. The results have been great, and there has been a huge improvement in pain with activity. Huge thanks to Dr Lu and his team.
