Absolutely one of the best shops in Nj. Fair, honest, loyal, hardworking. Always ready and willing to do the right thing.
I am a triathlete and MTB'er who drives 1.5 hours one way to Halters to have Jay work on my bike fit, purchase new bikes and other equipment. I have always found Jay and the others who work at Halters to be knowledgeable, honest and responsive. If I have any issues or am not 100% happy with something he will address and fix it. These are the reasons I keep going back. RecommendedI bought a bike from halters a few years ago. After beating the living crap out it for a few years the frame broke. Halters worked on my behalf to get a replacement frame from the manufacturer free of charge. I was then very happy to pay halters the very reasonable fee to rebuild the bike around my brand new, and free, frame. I, for one, recognize and appreciate great service.
I’ve been going to Halters for 13 years. I now live over 6000 miles away and still come back for accessories and more whenever I’m in the area. I just had an older road frame rebuilt by Jason and crew as a city bike and it’s awesome. Great prices and service. I always feel welcome when I stop by. Best shop around.
Fantastic shop! Wonderful experiences every time I go! From helping with fundraisers to finding the right bike for my daughter. Wonderful, personalized service with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and a clean and organized atmosphere.
Halters service is the best of any shop I’ve been to. If you want your bike serviced right, the first time, this is where to go. I bought my first mountain bike from Halters 20+ years ago and had it up until last year. In fact I probably drive past 10 bike shops on the way to them. I’ve never had an issue as they’ve always gone above and beyond to make sure everything is done right, often finding issues I wasn’t even aware of. Thanks Jason and crew for keeping my rides in top condition- hope to see you soon!
