Halstead is a very nice place to live! The management team is very communicative and willing to help residents. There are nonstop events held for residents to create that community feeling. Facilities and amenities are always kept cleaned. It offers great value for the rent, especially due to its excellent location. The maintenance crew is superb as well. Hubert has stopped by a couple times when answering requests just a day after I submit them. I feel like I’m in good hands with this crew!
The maintenance staff is very good. We had two problems at once and Hubert was able to fix one of them right away. The other problem required a part but Hubert explained that he'd be back to address the problem.
Final update: Noise situation unchanged after reaching out several times. Updated after 1 year: I have to move out because of noise. The wall is too thin especially with low wall design. A new neighbor moved in and do loud music and vacuuming 7 am in the morning while another have TV on after 12 pm. Cannot survive this noise with bad sleep while working 5 days a week in office. I recently moved to Halstead (the Lotus building) and so far I have absolutely no complaints. The concierge is always friendly and willing to help, the leasing staff are on top of things, and maintenance is out-of-this-world good. My cat has NOT been happy about the move, and got stuck in a void in the cabinets. Maintenance came out on a Sunday, opened the cabinets up, and after my cat finally came out, were back within hours of me putting in a maintenance request to close it back up. I recently moved into Halstead Square about a month ago, and have been thoroughly enjoying my experience so far! Malac was super helpful in getting my lease settled within my short time window I presented. She was very accommodating and made the process so much easier. Ann and Andre have also been helpful when ever I have questions related about facilities. Lastly, Hubert from maintenance is the best!
