I have been living at Halstead Apartments for almost 2 years and it has been an exceptional experience from day one. The community is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and feels like home. We've been here for about going on a year stuck in our lease. They call it luxury to attach a matching price tag. There is more Jerry Springer drama here then any reasonably priced, just as nice apartment we have had. From drunk tenants who spend as much time outside drunk, as they do inside, to unleashed dogs and piles of dog waste everywhere, this place is a joke. Review for building 4 I’ve lived here for 6 months and 2 weeks so far and loved every minute of it the first two months! Ever since 3 months in forget about the constant entering the unit for issue let’s start with saying one week we have a 15-20 minute fire alarm drill and now not even week later they tell you there’s another fire drill that will be happening between 9am-4:30pm that will be lasting the entire day but there no need to evacuate! Review for Building 5 I’ll keep this short. We moved to Halstead in May 2024. Briana is a wonderful person, and Fuat, the maintenance manager, is great. The rest of the maintenance team is also very helpful and kind. Our neighbors were always quiet and friendly, which we appreciated. Parking was also okay, I could usually find a spot right in front of our building, which was convenient. However, the apartment design has some serious flaws. BLUF: (Staff Great / Building quality BAD) After living here the initial perceptions quickly fade and you find out the complex is painfully avg, everything cheaply maintained/built, and it falls short of its luxury claims.
