I have been attending Halo for over a year. And I can honestly say this is the best treatment center/counseling center that I have ever been too. IOP classes helped me so much and you meet a lot of great people and their SMART recovery program is amazing as well. I absolutely love John. He has helped me in so many ways since I have struggled with my addiction. I have never had any issues with Halo and I would highly recommend trying them out if you're struggling.
No focus on what a person truly needs. Doesn't care what you feel or think or even the things that happened to you. Whatever gets you off their back and the most money is all they care about
Was referred to Halo for IOP coming out of treatment. Sat down with John and explained that I was hesitant as I would be losing my insurance. (I needed to quit my job for my recovery) He assured me that he would be willing to work with me. About a month into IOP, I stopped attending as pretty much everyone was there on court order and I didn't feel I was benefitting from the sessions. I got more from regular AA meetings for free. Alicia was great, I feel though. We are, as individuals there to take an assessment, just another case file or State funded dollar. I went for a substance assessment number 3 in 2 years and it doesn't change. They have they're own idea of what or who a human should be or what they should be on, and miss the whole personal being itself.
