I checked out today after a terrible experience at this motel. Last night, there was a fight involving outsiders and possibly guests, right outside the property, and my car was damaged during the chaos. The motel staff showed no concern and remained inside the office the entire time. There is clearly no security or safety measures in place for guests. My husband is in W Memphis for work & spends 98% of his time on the rd so we are very familiar with hotel life. He stayed in. Halmarc while working in PortArthur,Tx & we were so impressed with the quality there I decided to book him in W Memphis as well. Beyond impressed!! The front desk is VERY hospitable! The room was really nice and clean. The freshness met me at the door. Even though I forgot to put up the DND sign, they still knocked and asked if I would like housekeeping to come in. It was a pleasant experience.
